The MK35 provides the solution to the problem many card users face that their card files include multiple card formats.

Ten programs are shipped in the standard complement of software, including card reading, merging, sorting, sequence checking, purging duplicates, removing off-punched cards, conformance checking, reporting printing and communication to the client's PC computer.

Twenty-five different programs are available. Typical is one that merges newly punched cards with a large card library while elminating obsolete cards, those out of sequence, improperly punched cards and/or duplicates. UNIQUE CAPABILITIES

• The MK35 is the only computer-controlled sorter-collator on the market designed to feed and merge two files of aperture cards.
• The MK35 conveniently selects many cards from a file in one pass.
• The MK35 has the capability to rearrange cards with different formats. For example, if a part number is punched in one set of columns in one card format and elsewhere in several other card formats, only the MK35 or a human being can sort the cards into one file together. No columnar sorter or collator can accomplish this task if the part numbers are not punched in the same columns in all cards.

CARDAMATION has reduced the list price on the MK35 by approximately 40 percent. The MK35 was previously priced at $100,000 to $130,000, including software. CARDAMATION has reduced that price to $62,900.00, including standard software programs.

• Sequence Checking - Identifies cards that are out of sequence - Cards not in alphanumeric sequence may be rejected
• Selects Cards by Identifier - Operator may designate up to 10 identifiers per pass. The identifiers may contain any combination of characters
• Prints lists of information read from cards during any pass via client's PC computer printer or via an optional printer

• These Models have the same features as the 6111 Columnar Sorter and 6211 Sorter Collator. The 6524 has a 24 column movable read head, the 6556 has a 56 column read head, and the 6580 has an 80 column optical read head.
